Experienced Advocate | Former Police Officer, Prosecutor, and Insurance Defense
With a diverse background as a former police officer, prosecutor, and insurance defense attorney, I bring a unique perspective to every case I handle. My experience in law enforcement allows me to understand the tactics and methods police use, giving me the ability to identify weaknesses in their investigations and challenge the evidence effectively. Having been in their shoes, I know how officers are trained, what they focus on, and where their shortcomings lie, enabling me to find potential flaws in the prosecution's case with a level of insight that most criminal defense attorneys lack.
As a former prosecutor, I also understand how the state builds its case and the strategies they employ in court. This experience allows me to anticipate their moves, craft strong counterarguments, and negotiate more favorable plea deals. The state paid me to hone my trial skills, so I know how to present compelling arguments and question witnesses effectively, making me a formidable advocate for my clients.
In addition, my years as an insurance defense attorney have provided me with a deep understanding of civil litigation and personal injury claims. I know how insurance companies evaluate claims, what concerns adjusters, and how to negotiate successfully for the compensation my clients deserve. I bring this wealth of experience to every personal injury case, using my knowledge to secure the best possible outcomes.
Choosing me as your attorney means having someone on your side who knows the law from all angles—inside and out—and who will use that knowledge to protect your rights and fight for your interests.

- Q. In a crimenal case if I pea guilty does my lawyer have the rite to say I cannot withdraw my plea
- A: In Georgia, if a Defendant enter a blind plea, that is a plea that is not based on a recommendation from the State, then the Defendant has no right to withdraw their plea if they are given a sentence that they are unhappy with. When you plea under a negotiated plea, one with a recommendation, if the judge deviated from the recommendation, then you DO have the right to withdraw your guilty plea. When you go over your rights (Boykin Rights) prior to the plea, one of those rights should explain this. You can still withdraw your plea, but you do not have the right to withdraw your plea. you may always petition the Court to withdraw your plea, whether negotiated or blind, within the same term of ...
