Peter Papagianakis

Peter Papagianakis has practiced law exclusively in the area of business contracts and transactions since graduation from law school in 1997. He has experience as an attorney for large law firms and as senior in-house counsel for public company that was listed on the NYSE.

Peter has represented public companies as well as private companies from inception to IPO and beyond. In 2011, Peter was honored with a "Long Island Business News 2011 Leadership in Law" award.

In addition to practicing law, Peter (1) served on the Board of Directors of NYS-based multi-state property and casualty insurance company and (2) taught several business, economics, and investments courses for various graduate and undergraduate university programs in New York.

Before law school, Peter worked for two years as an Assistant Bank Examiner with the Miami Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and for one year as an Assistant Economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. In addition, he passed the Level I examination of the Chartered Financial Analyst program.

Peter graduated magna cum laude from his law school alma mater (Florida State University College of Law) and his undergraduate alma mater (Carnegie Mellon University). In addition to being licensed to practice law in New York, Peter is licensed in Florida–where he practiced law for three years.
