Peter G. Bissett
Peter G. Bissett, PLCI am proud to represent clients in whatever family law issue they may be facing, whether it be a divorce, a paternity case, a custody or parenting time dispute, a child or spousal support issue, or enforcement or modification of a previous court order. I limit my practice exclusively to family law because family law cases are important to the people involved in a way that no other kind of cases are. It is very rewarding to represent clients who are dealing with issues that really matter - not just to them, but to those who depend on them. I provide my clients with the information and support they need to make informed, rational decisions about their goals and strategies for resolving whatever issues they face. This goal-oriented approach helps ensure that my clients' cases are resolved as quickly and cost-effectively as they can be. Whenever possible, my clients and I first attempt to reach their goals through cooperation with the other side. If those efforts are not successful, we use the tools provided by the court system to attain my clients' goals with the least possible emotional wear-and-tear along the way. Either way, the focus remains the same: helping my clients through a difficult time in their lives and achieving the best possible resolution.
