Biography
Attorney Patrick Korody spent 10 years on active duty in the Navy JAG Corps, where he served as a military and federal prosecutor, military defense counsel, and crime victims' rights attorney. He deployed to Iraq in 2007 where he presented cases to Iraqi judges in Iraqi courts. He served as the special victims' prosecutor for the Navy in the Northwest Region of the United States and received advanced litigation and trial training through the military. - A: If you are AWOL, yes. But generally, if you are communicating with the unit and providing them medical documentation, which is normally reviewed by Navy medicine, you will be placed on convalescent leave to heal. Communicate with your unit.

- A: Except for a few specific charges (like sex offenses), you can request a waiver from the installation commander.
