Page Pate is an accomplished trial lawyer with over 25 years of experience in criminal defense and civil litigation. He is one of the most respected trial lawyers in the Southeast. He has won cases in the United States Supreme Court, the Seventh and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeal, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the Georgia Court of Appeals. Page has also successfully resolved serious federal criminal cases in all federal districts in Georgia and in many other states. He has also helped resolve international criminal disputes in Great Britain, Ireland, The Bahamas, and Spain. He is also authorized to appear as counsel in the United States Tax Court and the Court of International Trade.
Page was appointed by federal judges to the Board of the Federal Defender Program in Atlanta, where he served for several years working to coordinate the best representation for people charged in federal court with appointed counsel. Page was previously the Chairman of the Criminal Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association and served on the Judicial Selection and Tenure Committee, a committee that reviews judicial nominees and makes recommendations on potential judges.
Page is a frequent expert commentator on CNN and other national media. For many years, Page has served as the Legal Analyst for WABE FM 90.1, an NPR affiliate in Atlanta. Page has been interviewed for his expert opinion on various legal issues by the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, the Seattle Times, ESPN, the Dallas Morning News, and many other national and local publications.
Page is active in his community and with several non-profit organizations that are dedicated to serving the needs of the wrongfully accused and their families.
