My children and I are suffering the consequences of awful legal representation In May 2023, my regretful decision to hire Norine "Nonie" Ferguson to represent me in my divorce, has left me mentally and financially broke. She constantly sent me emails requesting information and updates to stipulations, draining my finances. A conflict of interest became apparent with missed deadlines and failure to acquire crucial data and information from opposing counsel, which would have bolstered my case and increased my monthly support. Miscommunication led to conflicting messages and confusion. Which left me incredibly misled, angry, anxious and severely depressed, all in the presence of my 3 children. Norine "Nonie" failed to represent me adequately in my divorce and advocate for my best interests, coupled with missed opportunities to strengthen my case, culminated in a disastrous mediation where I was misled into believing I was receiving a favorable outcome. Her failure to properly represent me in my divorce, proving herself to be an inadequate legal counsel who left me in a worse state than when I sought her assistance. I exerted so much time and energy to her to represent me properly and diligently. When I begged Norine to please appeal the divorce and fight for me, they callously filed a Notice of Withdrawal with the court, severing ties and abandoning me when I needed them most.
