Probate and Estate Planning Partner at Gendelman Klimas Ltd.
Nick is a Trust and Estate Attorney in Denver. He specializes in probate, wills and trusts, irrevocable trust preparation and business law in Denver and Colorado in whole. His primary focus on superior client service.

- Q. i have a question, i live in colorado and i was reading that a trust must be registered with the county of residence
- A: Your revocable trust does not need to be recorded or registered anywhere. There used to be a statute, that has since been revoked, that required irrevocable trusts to be recorded. This is no longer a requirement.
Upon a Trustors death, during administration, there may be a need to file the trust with a court to complete some task of administration, but not typically.
