
Nancy King

Nancy, a native Nashvillian, graduated in the top of her law school class and was the Comments Editor on the Board of the Law Review. After graduation, she clerked for the Honorable Hewitt P. Tomlin on the Tennessee Court of Appeals.
Following that clerkship, Nancy served for 25 years as a career judicial law clerk to the Honorable George C. Paine, II (retired) and the Honorable Randal S. Mashburn. She has extensive experience in all aspects of chapter 11 cases, business bankruptcies, and the practice of law in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. She has authored numerous bankruptcy related articles and is a frequent presenter at seminars focused on bankruptcy law and practice.
Nancy is also the Executive Director of Nonprofit Housing Corporation, Inc., a small nonprofit working to develop affordable housing in and around Middle Tennessee.
