Biography
Since being licensed to practice law in 2005, Ms. Goodwin has practiced criminal and juvenile law in all levels of North Carolina State Trial Court. She has extensive jury trial experience having tried offenses ranging from Misdemeanors to First-Degree Murder. Ms. Goodwin was certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a specialist in the areas of State Criminal Law and Juvenile Delinquency in November 2014. Ms. Goodwin was appointed as a District Court Judge for Union County in May 2023 and is currently serving in that capacity.
