1 Questions Answered
- Q. Will my parents be involved if I got caught stealing in Texas, at age 17
- A: If at the time of the alleged theft you were at least 17 year old, then in Texas you will be charged as an adult. Your parents will not be involved. However, if you were 16 years of age at the time of the offense, then you would be charged as a juvenile offender and your parents would be involved in the court proceedings. Your date of birth and the offense date would determine whether you are charged as an adult.
