Michelle Wiejaczka
An experienced trial attorney, Michelle G. Wiejaczka excels in helping individuals and families who need assistance with legal issues and representation. Recognized for her work in dispute resolution, collaborative law and cooperative problem solving, she is often appointed by the Court to serve as a mediator. Michelle is trained in Collaborative Law and periodically presides over cases that are assigned to mandatory arbitration. A former Assistant State’s Attorney (McHenry County) for almost nine years, she entered private practice in 1994, and founded Wiejaczka Law in 2005. Michelle graduated with High Honors from Southern Illinois University and was named a University Scholar with a degree in Administration of Justice. She earned her law degree from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where she was inducted into the Order of the Barristers in recognition of her courtroom advocacy skills. Michelle is a member of the Lake County and McHenry County Bar Associations and the Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County, where she has served on the Board and the Executive Board. She is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
