Michael Thomas Allen
Colorado Springs Family Law attorney Michael Thomas Allen (“Mike”) earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR and his Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, MN.
Throughout Law School, Mike took every opportunity to earn court room experience through interning at both Public Defender and District Attorney Offices in Colorado and Minnesota. These in the court room experiences gave him real world litigation experience prior to graduating UST Law in 2017. Since becoming an attorney in Colorado, Mike has served citizens of El Paso County through prosecuting misdemeanors, felonies, and, now in private practice, individuals throughout the front range.
After entering private practice, Mike has honed his skills as a litigator and negotiator in not only family law matters but also protection orders, contempt proceedings, municipal defense, and criminal defense. He has been selected by Tessa as one of the organization’s protection order prosecutors and the City of Manitou Springs to be the city’s municipal prosecutor. Mike is known within the legal community as diligent, prepared, and professional.
Service First, Service Now, Service Always
Moran & Associates family law attorney Michael Thomas Allen comments on his legal principles:
Efficient results and client specific legal services is why I left the public sector to enter private practice. As a prosecutor, I fought for the common good for the citizens of El Paso & Teller County. Now as a private attorney, I fight for individuals to serve them during difficult times.
Transparency, Creativity, and Loyalty are my core values as an Advocate. But most importantly, I view every case, not as a case number, but as a person with aspirations and a future that must be protected. I am thankful to be a team member of Moran & Associates Family Law and I’ll be at the ready to serve you and your family if the need arises.
