I met Mr. Shubeck through a BNI networking group about 6 months ago. Since he has managed the South Dakota satellite office for a firm based in California, he gained a variety of experience in litigation and settlement work.

Since meeting, we have discussed various litigation and procedural legal issues. I find him to be a knowledgable, experienced litigator. After Mr. Shubeck successfully settled a case for his client, I was engaged to draft a special needs trust for the client to allow the client to receive the benefit of settlement funds without jeopardizing her government benefits.

Yes

He was able and willing to see outside the scope of the representation. He recognized that if his client received the settlement funds she would likely be disqualified from receiving further government benefits. He took action on this issue and thus help his client avoid a more expensive mistake!

Mr. Shubeck helped me make connections on a criminal case where a civil rights violation occured. He helped me understand that a decision of an issue in a criminal case could preclude my client from filing a civil law suit helped me in my presentation to the court to help my client.

In a copyright infringment case, Mr. Shubeck not only successfully defended the case, he also found a way to have the plaintiff pay the attorney's fees.

Mr. Shubeck is responsive and has a way of communicating with clients to they feel guided through legal landscape, not left wandering or wondering.
