Michael is beyond a doubt effective as an advocate and a counselor. He knows the legal standards that have to be met, how he can/will meet them, and just as importantly, if and how you can meet yours. He's reasonable about what he can prove, what he can't, and whether he can do so for a judge or jury. He's passionate and capable, but no blinded by partisanship. He will do for his clients, but won't lie about what whether it will be difficult. He has knowledge, gravitas, and integrity.

Micheal knows what he needs in order to prove his case. He knows the difference between how you convince a judge and how to explain to a jury. He's aware of the evidentiary problems that will arise, and how to overcome them. He also knows how to make it very difficult for opposing counsel to overcome their challenges.

Legal Analysis: Excellent

Michael excels in legal distinction. He is most effective in demonstrating why a particular case or set of facts should favor his client. He is never caught flat footed when it comes to a legal issue, and is ready to address why a particular case is on point or distinguishable and why.

Communication Skills: Excellent

Michael is punctual with responses, clear in his communication, and always polite. Even when things get heated, he does not lose his cool, and responds appropriately should someone else do so. He is effective at managing the message of his client forcefully but respectfully.

Ethics and Professionalism: Excellent

I have never had reason upon which to question Michael's ethics or professionalism. He is upfront about what his case is, and how he will prove it. He won't hide bad facts or legal precedent, but he will show you why that doesn't matter. He won't run from a problem, and certainly won't lie or cheat to get an advantage.
