Michael Eugene Zmijewski

Michael E. Zmijewski is an attorney in Morgan & Morgan's Orlando office. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude from Temple University's Fox School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Following his undergraduate studies, Michael went on to attend Oklahoma City University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor with high honors. While in law school, he was honored by being inducted into Phi Delata Phi International Honor Society for his commitment to scholastic achievement.
In 2002, following his graduation from law school, Michael moved to Orlando, Florida to begin his legal career. For two years, Michael fought to protect the rights of victims while working as an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. In 2004, he shifted his focus to criminal defense where he garnered extensive courtroom and trial experience defending the rights of clients charged with criminal offenses. Michael now brings this experience with him to Morgan & Morgan to be a zealous advocate for his clients who have been injured by the negligence of others.
Mr. Zmijewski is a member of the Florida State Bar and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Michael has also been recognized and selected as a top 5% attorney by Super Lawyers.

- Q. My fiancée was arrested for a vop for things That were falsely reported against him and can't prove it what can i do
- A: The best advice I can give is to consider retaining an attorney for him so that the attorney can investigate and address these issues with the Prosecutor handling the case.
- Q. DUI case,Judge withheld adjudication,no points added,no conviction will show on driving record.Whats that mean?
- A: In the State of Florida, a Judge may not withhold adjudication on a DUI case. If your DUI charge was reduced to a Reckless Driving, then a withhold would keep points from being assessed.
- Q. Husband committed domestic violence towards me for first time ever. Can I file a police report without pressing charges?
- A: Once you file a police report, it will be up to the law enforcement agency to determine whether to submit the report to the Office of the State Attorney. If they do, and if upon review the State believes that there is sufficient evidence to file charges, they will be able to do so at that time.
