Mr. Sullivan has an impeccable academic background, including being #1 in his class at Georgetown University and an honors graduate of the nationally-ranked University of Michigan Law School. He has been admitted in multiple jurisdictions and has over forty years of litigation experience in state and federal trial and appellate courts as well as before administrative agencies. He also served over thirty years as a judge advocate in the U.S. Naval Reserve Law Program, retiring as a Captain in the Judge Advocate General's Corps ("JAG"). His trial experience includes federal tort, contract and employment law litigation, aviation liability, products liability and other complex litigation. He is admitted and licensed to practice law in California, New York, Michigan, Hawai’i and North Carolina. He is an experienced and active general aviation pilot with a commercial license and multi-engine rating. He represents airmen in FAA cases and aircraft and hangar owners in lease and property disputes. He had a 20, plus, year career as in-house counsel for a Fortune 50 company and has extensive experience advising business principals on "bet the company" litigation.
