Maria Aspiazu

Maria Aspiazu is a Maryland criminal defense attorney who has built a reputation for her client-focused approach, and dedication to tirelessly pursuing the best possible result in every case she handles. She is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, The Bar Association for Montgomery County, The Prince George’s County Bar Association, The Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, The Maryland Hispanic Bar Association and The District of Columbia Bar. Ms. Aspiazu earned her Juris Doctorate from the George Washington University Law School, where she was a member of the Client Counseling Board. She also has a law degree from the Universidad Laica Vicente Rocafuerte in Guyaquil, Ecuador. Before she became a defense attorney, Ms/ Aspiazu worked as a journalist. She still has a weekly segment on Telenoticas Washington, a news program on Telemundo.
