Margaret V Glass
Margaret Glass is a Partner in the transactional section of Steeg Law Firm, LLC. Founded in 1972, Steeg Law is a real estate law firm with decades of experience in commercial and residential real estate, real estate financing, commercial and residential title insurance, and commercial and business litigation throughout Greater New Orleans and the Gulf South.
Her practice areas include real estate transactions, including commercial and residential sales, leases, financing and entity organization as well as landlord/tenant law, condominium law, and zoning and land use. Prior to joining Steeg Law she worked as a litigation attorney in Louisiana and Texas, gaining experience in insurance coverage, construction litigation, title curative litigation and condominium-related litigation.
Margaret is known for being both detail-oriented and pragmatic, strengths that help her devise creative solutions to difficult problems. Clients note that she is pleasant to work with, prompt and effective, even when she is addressing complicated and time-sensitive issues.

Margaret is a Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Preservation Resource Center. She is also involved with the New Orleans Commercial Real Estate Women, where she is a member of the Philanthropy Committee. Over the years, she has provided pro bono legal services when she was an intern at both the New Orleans Legal Assistance Office of Southeast Louisiana Legal Services and New Orleans City Attorney’s Office, Housing Department.
