Excellent Estate Planning Attorney My wife and I had been looking for a good Elder Law Attorney for some time. We are getting up in age and have a large family. We had put off getting a Will set up long enough. This turned out to be a very time consuming matter. I searched and then asked for recommendations for a good attorney. Each one seemed to be too busy or they didn't specialize in Elder Law. This is one item that you don't want a half way, hurry up job done. A good friend, who has always steered me right, recommended The Soares Law Firm. I called, explained what I was looking for, and Marcio answered enough for me to realize I had the right person. I told him we were leaving in just over a week on a long trip and would like to see this done before we leave, if possible. He literally moved mountains, with such a short notice, to adjust his schedule for us, and even stayed late a couple of nights to be able to get this done in time. We were overwhelmed with his generosity of time that he spent with us, educating us, answering all our questions, and walking us through the whole process broken up into three sessions. We learned that, if you want things to be simple, easy, and timely for your heirs who are already dealing with grief, without being held up by a probate process, things have to be set up right. It's not just a Simple Will; sign here. Marcio patiently walked us through each option of the Will, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, etc., and personalized the package to fit our needs. When we were done, and the paperwork was all ready to sign, he walked us through each page explaining and answering our questions. It was packaged professionally in a very nice spiral folder with each page in individual sleeves. We were so happy and so relieved knowing we no longer had to worry about leaving our children behind, with them not knowing what to do. I'm very happy to recommend Marcio Soares and The Soares Law Firm, and that I had an opportunity to share our experience through this review in hopes that this will help others in their decision in finding the right Attorney.

Excellent Attorney We went to Marcio Soares to set up a trust and will. He was recommended to us and we were very pleased with the work that he did for us. We went not knowing exactly what we wanted, but Marcio was great explaining the process to us, showing us the options that were available, and making everything understandable so we could make the best choices. Marcio is very thorough and he knows his stuff! I highly recommend the Soares Law Firm!

Biography

Marcio Soares founded and currently manages The Soares Law Firm. After earning his MS in Public Administration from National University, Marcio earned his JD from the University of Massachusetts School of Law.

While attending law school, he completed two Harvard Business School certificate programs. He also earned an LLM in Elder Law and Estate Planning from Western New England University School of Law.

With a passion for elder law, he is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

In addition to his educational achievements, he is a decorated Army veteran and has earned several Army Commendation and Achievement medals. He has served as a Paratrooper, Ranger, and Special Forces Green Beret.

During his 15+ years of service, he reached the rank of Sergeant First Class and deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

After serving his country with honor and distinction, he now brings that same dedication to serving the estate planning needs of Texas residents.
