Lupe was born and raised in Venezuela. Lupe attended Universidad Santa Maria, School of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctor Degree in 1999. While in Law school, Lupe served a required judicial clerkship at a Criminal Circuit Court in Caracas, Venezuela.
Lupe is a licensed and Bar admitted Attorney in Good Standing in the State of Louisiana. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and The American Bar Association.
