Luke J Nichols
Luke J. Nichols has successfully defended hundreds of drivers in Virginia. He is well known for his expertise in DUI/DWI defense, reckless driving defense, and other traffic issues. Luke Nichols is one of the few attorneys in Virginia who has undergone the NHTSA based law enforcement training for DUI detection and the Standardised Field Sobriety Tests (SFST). Mr. Nichols has also been trained as a Field Sobriety Test Instructor and has been trained in the use of law enforcement speed measurement devices such as Radar, Lidar, and Pacing. This experience and training gives Mr. Nichols a unique edge in defending reckless driving and DUI/DWI cases in Virignia.
Besides training, Luke Nichols is also the author of several books on Virignia Traffic Law. Mr. Nichols is the author of the Virignia DUI Handbook (2010), The Virginia Reckless Driving Handbook (3rd edition) and Driving on a Suspended License in Virginia (2011). Mr. Nichols is also a contributing author for several online legal resources and legal blogs.
Mr. Nichols is a licensed member of the Virginia State Bar, a member of the National College of Dui Defense, and he holds a Juris Doctorate from George Mason University School of Law.
