Lisa Ellis was admitted to the Washington Bar in 2000. She is the Principal of Ellis Law, LLC which serves clients in Bellevue, WA and surrounding Puget Sound communities. Lisa's practice is focused on providing specialized estate planning for older adults, estate planning, representation in adult guardianships and probate administration.
Lisa received her undergraduate degree at Whitman College and law degree at The University of Oregon where she was an executive editor of The Oregon Law Review. Lisa was an Attorney Advisor at the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), a position she entered through the U.S. Attorney General's Honors Program. She was a law clerk for the Honorable Robert H. Whaley at the U.S. District Court of Eastern Washington. Lisa entered private practice in 2004 and founded Ellis Law, LLC in 2013.
Lisa is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and Washington Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She has the highest rating, 10.0 out of 10.0 on Avvo. She was selected as a Rising Star in 2011 and as a Super Lawyer in 2023-24 by Washington Super Lawyers.
Lisa enjoys practicing law in the community where she grew up. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, group exercise classes, and local adventures with friends and family.
