Lisa Hu Barquist
Former Federal Prosecutor Litigating Business/Commerical Disputes
For the past 30 years, Lisa Hu Barquist has practiced law in state and federal courts, worked in public and private sectors, at national and boutique law firms, on civil and criminal matters. For 11 years, Lisa served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of Florida and Western District of New York prosecuting criminal narcotics violations and civil Medicare fraud. The FBI, DEA, IRS, Bureau of Prisons, and local law enforcement officers recognized her for her service.
Lisa's growing up as an immigrant to this great country, working at her family restaurant since the age of 13, having the opportunity to attend Yale and University of Southern California Law School honed Lisa to be the advocate she is today.
All matters – in life and law -- are dealt with eclectic approaches and persistence, grounded by her resolute belief system in what is right and just.
