Leslie Ann Werner
The Werner Law Group
After working at Houston mega-firms, Corpus Christi and Victoria mid-size firms, and two different Courts of Appeals, Leslie A. Werner opened her own firm in Victoria, TX, in 2007 under The Soliz Law Group, her then-married last name.
Leslie has taken what she learned from her variety of experiences and has not only become a well-rounded attorney but created a firm that has embodied the best attributes of her previous workplaces.
Her experience at the 1st and 13th Court of Appeals and her association with the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for Civil Appeals has allowed her to be the attorney to whom many attorneys refer appellate cases.
Several years ago, Leslie became one of Victoria's first openly textable lawyers. She has volunteered her time to give legal advice to concerned individuals, giving them peace of mind during sometimes traumatic situations. The value this has brought to the community has been priceless.
Leslie's firm, The Werner Law Group, PLLC, has a diverse group of attorneys who practice family law, immigration, bankruptcy, estate planning, and probate.
Leslie is currently accepting civil appeal cases in any county in Texas and can be reached by text seven days a week at 361-648-6888.

- Q. I need an appellate attorney for a family law custody final decree from December 1 2021 feb 22 2022 not signed
- A: All time periods run from the date of the signing of the final order. You may message me on this platform and discuss your case. I am Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law.
- Q. Can a mother leave texas during a open custody agreement
- A: The final decree should contain language that requires the mother to notify you of any change of address. Notifications of address and phone number changes are typically standard in temporary orders as well. If the mother has moved, she may be in violation of a court order. You should let your attorney or the attorney general's office know about this right away.
- Q. Been married 6yrs husband put everything purchased after marriage in his name I paid everything off what are my rights
- A: You need to hire a good family law attorney who can fight for your assets and show the court how these assets were paid off and when. More importantly, your attorney needs to show that these assets were bought during marriage and are thus community property. Regardless of whose name your husband titled the documents. Do not let your husband intimidate you into thinking he doesn't owe you anything.
