Lee Meadows

Lee Meadows grew up in Tallahassee, Florida, and attended Leon High School. After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in criminology, he attended Cumberland Law School in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduation from law school, Lee clerked for the First District Court of Appeals.


He opened his private law practice in 1981 and has concentrated on criminal defense and driver license rehabilitation since. For six years he maintained a branch law office in Key West, Florida.


Lee has practiced in all courts in Florida including county courts, circuit courts, the First District Court of Appeals, and the Florida Supreme Court. Lee’s experience includes numerous motion hearings and jury trials.


He has lectured other attorneys on DUI trial techniques and was selected by Super Lawyers, by peer review, as one of the top 5 DUI Attorneys in Florida. Lee has handled over 3,500 criminal cases in Florida courts and driver license hearings before the Florida Department of Highway Safety.


He has also represented numerous students at disciplinary hearings at the university level. His experience also includes appeals to circuit court, the First District Court of Appeals, and the Florida Supreme Court.

Lee offers personal attention, familiarity with local prosecutors, court procedures, judges, and reasonable fees. His office is located in the historic Bradford Cobb house (circa 1879) in downtown Tallahassee.
