Mr. Bristow's communication skill are the best I have ever seen by any attorney in my 23 years of practice. Mr. Bristow returns emails, texts, and phones calls almost immediately. He carefully listens to opposing positions and is always willing to negotiate and discuss settlement. He truly has his client's best interest at heart and constantly works towards a successful outcome. Mr. Bristow represented an extremely difficult client and almost single handily helped said client win his case.

Legal Knowledge: Excellent

Mr. Bristow is like an encyclopedia combined with a computer when it comes to legal knowledge. He can recite relevant cases and statutes off the top of his head. In order to practice law against Mr. Bristow an opposing attorney has to be sharp and ready. Mr. Bristow's work product is exceptional. I have tried to find holes with his legal citations and authorities, and there has not been a single occasion where he has misapplied the law or incorrectly cited a prior court opinion.

Legal Analysis: Excellent

Mr. Bristow's legal analysis is extraordinary, and manifestly excellent. I believe there is no finer attorney when it comes to explaining a situation to a judge, and properly applying the law. Mr. Bristow won a case against my client that I do not think any other attorney could have successfully prosecuted.

Communication Skills: Excellent

Mr. Bristow is great at oral presentation and legal argument. However, his listening skill far surpass his tremendous verbal skills. When one deals with Mr. Bristow that person can be assured that they will be shown full respect and taken seriously. Even when Mr. Bristow disagrees with an opposing viewpoint he shows interest, and treats all others with dignity.

I clerked for Kyle Bristow when I was in law school, he has done document drafting for me in some of my cases, I taught him the nuances of TCPA litigation, he and I have coordinated on defamation cases, and Kyle is somebody who I have occasionally co-counseled cases with, represented him on his cases, or had him assist me in my cases.

Kyle and I have been friends for over fifteen years. When he was in law school I supervised him when he did work for me in the capacity as a law clerk. After he graduated and passed the bar we collaborated on a variety of matters including civil revenge pornography cases and animus brief in civil cases.

I one particular federal court proceeding on an important issue of First Amendment law, Kyle and I each represented different defendants. In other proceedings, we represented the same party on issues including both revenge pornography and other matter of public interest.

He worked as a law clerk for me when he was in law school. This would have been between about 2009 - 2011. We worked together again on some appellate briefs that I believe were filed between 2012 and 2015. We have collaborated on revenge pornography cases on and off beginning in 2013. We worked together on some public interest matters for a legal foundation until about 2017 and, after that, we represented different parties on the same side of a federal civil case in 2019.

Kyle has an incredibly strong grasp of legal research and writing and this scholarly work in the area has been impressive. He is a zealous advocate for his client and an extremely effective communicator both in and out of court.

Kyle has a very strong knowledge of Michigan and Ohio law generally (with a particular emphasis on divorce and family law). He is also skilled in federal civil law - especially on First Amendment and Second Amendment issues.

Kyle's legal analysis is second to done. In one particular case in which we worked on an appellate brief together, much of Kyle's analysis was ultimately adopted in the final opinion of the Court.
