I hired attorney Kevin Rundle for my divorce case after my ex-husband contented our previously uncontested divorce done my mail. After our first me hour consultation, I felt like I was retaining someone that would be on my side. What I got was the exact opposite. When I challenged him on the way he was treating me as his client, he just explained that he is a very blunt person. There is a difference between being blunt and speaking with candor, and being downright rude and dismissive. He also was completely absent on my case. He turfed everything to his paralegal and when it came time for hearing in my case, he was wholly unprepared and failed to present the strongest arguments in my favor. He was also very soft in fighting back and his handling of the perjury and unethical behaviors from both my ex-husband as well as my attorney. He let them get away with anything and everything, with no pushback and it cost me tens of thousands of dollars, before I ultimately fired him and hired someone better equipped for the job. Lastly, anyone looking to retain him should know that he does not appear in court in person, ever. This was not disclosed to me in our consultation. Had I known, I never would have retained him. Imagine sitting at a table without counsel at a divorce trial, across from your spouse and their high powered attorney, while your attorney attends via Zoom. I absolutely should have been informed of this upfront.

Professional Legal Services of Envision Family Law Envision Family Law After some research, I reached out to a number of attorney’s offices for a one hour consultation to find out more about attorney and paralegal assistance in a divorce case. One of those offices was Envision Family Law. When I spoke to the attorney there, he gave me a one hour rundown on many of the things that I needed to be aware of throughout the process, as well as different avenues of approach toward using an attorney versus a paralegal for the process. The attorney, Kevin, shared his wisdom from more than two decades of experience in family law, especially as it pertained to veterans and their families. Subsequently, my wife and I came to the conclusion that we would use their paralegal services. Their paralegal, Andrea, like Kevin, was very helpful, professional, and responsive in getting the necessary things done that we needed. The divorce process is now complete, and we are happy with the overall professional legal services we received. This was a very difficult time for both of us, my wife and I. I am pleased with how easy it was to move through the divorce process. Biography

Kevin G. Rundle is a well-established and highly respected Family Law Attorney, zealous advocate for his clients, and Commissioner Pro Tempore (temporary/fill-in Court Commissioner) for the Pierce County Superior Court (since 2011 in good standing).

As a family law attorney with Envision Family Law Group, Kevin focuses his practice on complex family litigation, domestic violence litigation, and sexual assault litigation. Prior to joining Envision Family Law Group, Kevin served as Director of the Legal Services Program for the YWCA Pierce County from 2005 through 2015 and an attorney with same beginning 2004 through 2015. Prior to employment with the YWCA, Kevin was in private practice from 1998 through 2004 (with a short stint as a staff attorney with the YWCA in 1999 and 2000). Kevin is a graduate of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, cum laude 1995, and Gonzaga University School of Law, Spokane, WA 1998.

Kevin is often called upon to give continuing legal education presentations to members of the Washington State Bar Association on issues pertaining to complex family litigation, domestic violence litigation, and sexual assault litigation. This is quite the honor!

In addition to the above, Kevin is also the court appointed attorney in Pierce County to represent petitioners in Sexual Assault Protection Order cases.
