Biography

Kevin O’Mahony is an AV-Preeminent rated healthcare and business law attorney, representing clients in Georgia. Previously, he led the healthcare practice groups of a midsize Atlanta and southeast regional law firm’s Atlanta office, where he was a partner. Before that, Kevin was a name partner in the Atlanta law firms of Allen McCain & O'Mahony and O'Mahony & Vancil, where he began representing Emory Healthcare, Emory University hospitals, The Emory Clinic and other healthcare providers. He also served as healthcare and business counsel at the large Atlanta-based law firms of Troutman Sanders (now Troutman Pepper) and Drew Eckl & Farnham. Kevin obtained his law degree with honors from William & Mary Law School. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and all Georgia trial and appellate courts. He also has served as an arbitrator and mediator for the National Arbitration Forum, been a litigation and arbitration instructor for the American Institute of Paralegal Studies, and is an AHLA Neutral. Kevin has earned an AV Preeminent rating (the highest possible peer review rating in both legal ability and ethical standards), holds a perfect 10/10 rating from Avvo, and is an American Lawyer Media and Martindale Hubbell Top Rated Lawyer in Healthcare and Litigation.
