Biography

My name is Kevin Kelly, and I am a lawyer. I have spent my entire career in the arena of criminal law. It is my desire to use my experience to help others who find themselves involved in the criminal justice system and need someone to help guide them through this difficult time.
I am a lifelong resident of Fishers, Indiana. I graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School before attending and earning my undergraduate degree from Indiana University. After college I spent a year at Speedway Jr. & Sr. High School, coaching Football, Wrestling and Track. Thereafter, I attended Valparaiso University Law School, graduating in 1997.
After graduation I began working at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. I spent twenty-one years as a Deputy Prosecutor in Indianapolis. I handled a wide range of cases from Misdemeanors to Murder. I started out in the Misdemeanor Division and then moved on to Major Felony Drug enforcement. I then moved into the Major Felony Division where I was subsequently promoted to the Homicide Division where I remained until I took over as a Supervisor in the Major Felony Division. Additionally, I was responsible for continual training of Deputy Prosecutors and was a faculty member of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Homicide School.
I left Marion County in 2018 and moved on to the Hancock County Prosecutor’s office as a Major Felony Prosecutor. After nearly four years in Greenfield, I reconnected with Eric Blankenship with whom I had worked with in Marion County and made the move to join him in private practice.
I have tried over one hundred major felony jury and court trials and have experience in almost every type of criminal case. Let me use my nearly quarter century of criminal experience to help you navigate through this process and unsure your rights are protected.
