Biography

Kenneth R. Sipsma is a partner in the firm of Steinhilber Swanson. He represents individuals, businesses, estates and trusts throughout Wisconsin and in federal courts in Wisconsin and Illinois in civil litigation, collections, divorces, probate and trust litigation and administration, business formation and operation, estate planning and appellate cases.
Mr. Sipsma (Ken) has extensive experience representing individuals in complex divorce cases involving prenuptial agreements, valuation of assets and business interests, child custody matters and on appeals. He regularly advises and represents clients in business and personal controversies, including contract and fraud claims and real estate disputes. Mr. Sipsma's (Ken) probate and trust litigation work includes will and trust interpretation and undue influence and breach of fiduciary duty claims.

Mr. Sipsma has a well-stablished history of representing persons in sensitive matters including accusations of wrongdoing, family issues, mental health issues and related civil and criminal cases.

Outside the courtroom, Mr. Sipsma (Ken) offers clients estate planning services including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts and martial property agreements. He provides representation for the probate of estates, to trustees in the administration of trusts, and to guardians of persons and estates. Mr. Sipsma (Ken) also represents clients in business matters including corporation, limited liability company and partnership start-ups, negotiation of contracts and leases and the purchase and sales of businesses.

Mr. Sipsma (Ken) is admitted to practice in the state Wisconsin, U. S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Wisconsin and Northern District of Illinois and in the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh District.

Mr. Sipsma (Ken) is an elected official for the Town of Westport in Dane County Wisconsin and he is the chair of the Middleton, Wisconsin, Fire District.
