His practice focuses on mergers acquisitions, licensing, digital media entertainment, and emerging company matters. Mr. Ebanks advises public and private companies, venture capital and private equity funds, start-ups and entrepreneurs on a broad range of transactions and matters, including acquisitions and sales, joint ventures, financings, licensing and content deals, distribution arrangements, employment agreements, e-commerce and blogging. His clients include media and publishing firms, sports leagues, videogame developers, software and Internet ventures, film and television producers and distributors, life sciences companies and financial services firms. Mr. Ebanks also has substantial experience with cross-border transactions across Europe, Australia and the Pacific Rim, and practiced corporate law in Geneva, Switzerland for several years. Mr. Ebanks is a member of San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom’s Digital Media Advisory Council, and also serves as Hiring Partner for the San Francisco office.
