The Special Tribunal for Lebanon is a tribunal of international character. Its primary mandate to hold trials for the people accused of carrying out the attack of Feb. 14, 2005 in Lebanon. My primary internship duties were to assist in processing exhibits in a specialized electronic data system, including completing accurate metadata fields to ensure search and retrieval capability, assisting with maintaining and compiling reports and drafting submissions, and assisting in completing legal analysis for functions related to the court management responsibilities of the section.
