Kassie's graduate work focused on the neurobiology of aging, specifically, investigating the transcriptional neuroendocrine mechanisms of age-related cognitive decline and potential compounds for cognitive enhancement in aging. She has engaged in both academic and industrial collaborations, coauthored several papers in peer-reviewed journals and publicly presented her research on numerous occasions.
