: Current; Former Executives of MediaOne Lillis et al. v. AT&T Corp. Represented plaintiffs in a breach of contract action challenging the cancellation of stock options in AT&T Wireless’ merger with Cingular. Court ruled in plaintiffs’ favor, after trial, and entered a $14 million judgment against AT&T, representing the value of plaintiffs’ options plus prejudgment interest.

: Current; Reuters Limited|Reuters Group plc|Radianz Limited|British Telecommuncations plc Reuters/British Telecom appellate victory Obtained a dismissal before the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on behalf of Reuters and British Telecom, in a class action involving allegations of stock price manipulation.

: Current; Reuters Limited|Radianz Limited|British Telecommuncations plc Gilstrap et, al v. Radianz Limited et, al Obtained the dismissal of a putative class action in the Southern District of New York on forum non conveniens grounds on behalf of Reuters Limited, British Telecommunications plc and Radianz Limited.

: Current; Vivendi SA Vivendi Universal, S.A. and Vivendi Universal Entertainment LLP v. USANi Sub LLC Represented Vivendi Universal and Vivendi Universal Entertainment LLLP (“VUE”) against USANi Sub LLC (“USANi”)seeking an Order granting a declaratory judgment so that the closing of a $40 billion business transaction between Vivendi Universal and, among others, General Electric Company (“GE”) can proceed and accept the letters of credit. USANi initially refused to accept the form of the letters of credit. After document discovery, USANi finally agreed to accept the form of the letters of credit substantially in the form initially provided.

Successfully represented Value Partners, a multi-national management consulting firm, as plaintiff, seeking damages against Bain & Co. for unfair competition, aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty and tortious interference. more
