Jonathan M. Mofsky concentrates his practice on community association law. He represents clients in a broad range of general community association matters, litigation, administrative, collection and foreclosure matters. Mr. Mofsky's representation includes transactional work, covenant enforcement, providing opinions and guidance about statutory and documentary guidelines for the administration and operation of the association, drafting amendments to governing documents, performing contract review and drafting, drafting opinion letters, and preparing meeting packages for board meetings, annual meetings and elections and other meetings requiring a vote of the owners. His representation also includes assisting clients with administrative investigations by the Bureau of Compliance, Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes, and with various legal issues concerning neighboring properties and communities, governmental agencies, commercial units, and use rights.
Mr. Mofsky also speaks regularly at State-approved board member certification courses and educational seminars pertaining to the establishment and operation of condominium and homeowner associations in Florida and has authored articles pertaining to various issues affecting community associations.
Mr. Mofsky has been designated by The Florida Bar as a Board Certified Specialist in Condominium and Planned Development Law in the state of Florida.
