Biography

We provide personal, aggressive and thorough representation in several areas of law.

With a concentration in DWI Defense and Criminal Law and over 30 years experience as defense attorneys, my colleague, Jennifer Lippmann, and I, have the knowledge and background to face any challenges with our client.

No one in our office has ever been a prosecutor. I'm proud of the fact that this firm has always been on the side of the accused. This aspect of our training allows us to see clearly that it is the burden of the Police and Prosecutor to prove every element of a crime against our clients. When deciding who will represent you, are you willing to trust someone who was trained to prosecute the accused?

We pride ourselves on the fact that every step of the proceedings and every aspect of the case is always explained so there is always an understanding of exactly what's happening. Informed decisions will be made together. Many of our clients and referrals have never been in trouble before, so we feel it's important that every question is answered so there is less worry and no anxiety.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. -John T. Powers, Jr.
