John sits on the Board of Directors for the Montgomery Bar Association and is a Judicial Council Member for the National Asian Pacific Bar Association. Conducted 10 jury trials in federal court as lead counsel. Extensive experience with investigating and prosecuting fraud and money laundering offenses. Successfully prosecuted 12 made members and associates of the Philadelphia La Cosa Nostra Family in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania from 2011 to 2014. Received the 2009 ATF Honor Award for the successful RICO prosecution of 14 members of the violent international criminal organization known as La Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, in Nashville, Tennessee. Earned the U.S. Department of Justice Special Achievement Award for sustained superior performance of duty in 2007, 2008, and 2010.
