John Hatchett McFarland
Joyce + McFarland LLPJohn McFarland is a native Houstonian and, like his father before him, a trial lawyer focusing on business litigation. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in disputes involving breach of fiduciary duty, oil and gas interests, fraud, land use and financing, and breach of contract. He has tried numerous cases in state and federal courts, including suits involving commercial fraud, lender liability, products liability, equity disputes, and business dissolution. He has successfully briefed and argued several cases to the Fifth Circuit and Texas courts of appeal. His experience in trial and appeals allows him to provide strategic business risk advice designed to avoid, minimize, or position potential litigation.
