- Activities: Mr. Edwards is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas and is a graduate of their inaugural Leadership Program Class of the First Amendment Institute. Mr. Edwards currently serves on the ABA Media, Privacy, and Defamation Law Committee's Insurance Task Force, and the Media Law Resource Center's Employment Law Committee. He has been appointed to the Houston Bar Association's Law and Media Committee for 2006-2007. Mr. Edwards also handles hotline calls for members of the Texas Association of Broadcasters and the Texas Press Association.
