JoAnn pushed settlement and billed for incompleted work I hired JoAnn to represent me during a very difficult divorce. Unfortunately, I found her to be uncommunicative, dismissive of my concerns, and—most concerning—charging for work that, in my experience, was either never completed or not explained to me. For example, I completed and notarized a statement of net worth that was never filed with the court, despite being billed for it. When I followed up, I couldn’t get clear answers. JoAnn also failed to return multiple calls and emails, notably when I tried to formally terminate our relationship. Her responses were often delayed or vague, and she was not proactive in explaining my legal options or rights—particularly around property division, which was central to my case. She pushed me to settle so, in my opinion, she could pay herself for little work. She has also removed my negative reviews from other platforms. In short: do not waste money on this attorney.
