Jesse Haskins is an intelligent and diligent attorney. Jesse and I worked together for close to a year on a litigation case that encompassed several legal disciplines, such as criminal law, probate, and bankruptcy. The case was a difficult up-hill battle with a voluminous amount of document review and analysis spanning over several decades. We achieved a successful outcome against a well-respected attorney largely due to Jesse’s positive attitude, perseverance, and wise legal strategy.

Professional, Knowledgeable, Highly Recommended After researching several attorneys, it wasn't until I saw Mr. Haskins profile, that found an attorney that fit my needs. After reaching out, he was prompt with his return call, and highly inquisitive of my situation and what I was looking for. He was extremely knowledgeable, and I was not only fully confident in him, but also excited to be able to work with him. He is prompt to every meeting, and keeps me informed with not only my projects, but also anything he may be a part of or working on publicly to help the environment. If you are looking for an honest, caring, hard working attorney, then I highly recommend Mr. Jesse Haskins.

Biography

Through his broad experience in the government and private sectors, Jesse knows how to navigate the labyrinth of compliance, risk management, and strategic planning. Jesse served as assistant attorney general for the State of Florida. In this capacity, he handled a range of civil litigation, from prisoners’ civil rights complaints to challenges about the adequacy of funding for Florida’s public universities. Jesse also served as assistant general counsel for the Florida Department of Financial Services, where he handled matters relating to workers’ compensation compliance, bankruptcy, and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). His experience representing the government as both a regulator and a creditor puts Jesse’s clients in a strong position to flourish in spite of government regulations, to manage risks, and to thrive financially.

But it’s not just about experience. Community and professional engagement matters. The President of the Florida Bar appointed Jesse to serve on the Governmental and Public Policy Advocacy Committee. Groups like the Florida Food Policy Council, Florida Organic Growers, and the American Bar Association consistently invite Jesse to speak and write. Jesse is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the American Agricultural Law Association, and the American Bar Association. Jesse graduated from the Duke University School of Law in 2009 and is admitted to practice law in Florida and North Carolina.

His favorite ingredient is tahini.
