Confident, competent, knowledgeable, kind, effective, and funny! The word in the title are but a few of the ways I would describe Jennifer Watkins. She is not only an amazing lawyer but also an amazing person. If you do the work to keep your nose clean she will do the rest. I am still in awe at the outcome of my case. I was facing some very serious charges and not only did Jennifer get the best possible outcome but she also made me feel safe and valued as a person. Her in depth knowledge of not only the law but also of the demeanor of the judges and DA's makes her a highly effective legal representative. I had other attorneys turn me down due to their lack of confidence in being able to represent me. Jennifer stepped up with a calming confidence that made me feel safe and seen. And not for nothing she got me the absolute best possible plea and at 20% the cost. Her rates are more than reasonable and you can tell that she is not just in it for the money but in it for her clients. She truly cares and is willing to go above and beyond and the proof is in the pudding. She got half my charges dismissed and the other half deferred. I could not have hoped for a better outcome and I am deeply grateful that our paths have crossed.

I could not have hired a better attorney. I recommend Jennifer Watkins wholeheartedly! I am in awe of Jennifer Watkins; she is a credit to her field. I had never hired an attorney before I reached out and I could tell from our first conversation/consultation she was the person I wanted working with and representing me. Hiring her was the best decision; she is kind, empathetic, caring and thorough. She gave me excellent advice and set me on the right track to be as prepared for my court date as possible. She took time with me to answer all of my questions, she did all she could to work with the DA before my court date and she ultimately was able to negotiate the best deal I could have possibly hoped to be given. Biography

Ms Watkins has been litigating criminal defense cases since 2001. She graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in 1999 and subsequently began her career in criminal defense at the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office where she effectively handled more than two hundred and fifty criminal cases at a time on a regular basis. For most of her career, Jennifer has been in private practice, where she is able to dedicate the necessary time, resources and attention to detail to give each client’s case the scrutiny, insight, analysis and zealous advocacy that is often crucial to understanding the uniqueness of each situation and case and litigating with a triumphant outcome. Jennifer has successfully handled a myriad of cases, with particular focus on misdemeanors and felonies involving allegations of assault, domestic abuse, weapons, theft, drug charges and DUI and DUID. Jennifer has an extraordinary ability to unravel cases from many perspectives, to unearth errors and omissions in the prosecution’s case, and to effectively convey the perspective of the accused to prosecutors, judges, and juries.
