Jay John Torrenzano

Mr. Torrenzano is an accomplished trial attorney who is passionate in fighting for justice. His calm demeanor combined with his litigation experience creates a guiding force that helps his clients to recover in Court for the harms they have suffered. Mr. Torrenzano is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey State Courts, as well as Federal Courts in the Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York and the U.S Court of Military Appeals. He has been successful in recovering for his clients for the harms they have suffered in numerous trials throughout the five boroughs in New York City as well as in Westchester, Orange, Rockland and Nassau Counties.
Mr. Torrenzano is married to an elementary school teacher and they have three children. In the past when his children were young he coached little league baseball and club soccer. Currently Mr. Torrenzano is an active supporter of Heartshare Human Services and the Kelsey Cancer Run.
Mr. Torrenzano graduated from Hofstra University in 1982 and from New York Law School in 1986. After graduation from Law School Mr. Torrenzano served three years as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy as a trial attorney in the Judge Advocate General Corp (JAG) attached to Naval Station San Diego. During his service in the Navy he had the privilege of representing enlisted service men in Military Court as their defense counsel.
After his Honorable Discharge from service he worked as a trial attorney at a New York Plaintiffs personal injury firm. In 1997, Mr. Torrenzano founded the Law Firm of Eaton & Torrenzano with his law school classmate and good friend Craig Eaton and is especially proud to be able to serve the local communities our offices are located in.
