Jane M. Gekhman
JMG Legal PLLC
I see myself as not only an attorney but a counselor at law. I recognize the needs of my clients and make sure those needs are taken care of first-hand. I proactively review each client’s specific circumstances and actively focus on moving towards a good resolution. I want to help people close certain chapters in their lives to allow an opportunity for new chapters to be opened for them. I believe that my focused approach helps to avoid a more drawn-out process and avoids the necessity of higher attorney’s fees.
I know that your case is very important to you and it is very important to me as well. I know that the results of your case will make a significant difference in your life and the lives of your family for years to come. If you put your trust in me to help you with your particular situation, I will handle your case with the most diligent care and attentiveness.
Sincerely,
Jane M. Gekhman

- Q. I have gotten divorced, I’m looking to move within the next months do I have to notify the parent of where I stay at?
- A: Generally speaking, yes. You need to review the Divorce Decree for specific details. It might be worth it to have a consultation with an attorney to review the Divorce Decree together.
- Q. Ex- Spouse is moving children out of the county which violates the divorce decree. What are my next steps?
- A: You would need to file a Motion for Enforcement/Contempt for violating the Divorce Decree.
- Q. I am currently on disability and can't afford the retainer of an attorney. That is really my only source of income.
- A: Try reaching out to Legal Aid 800-955-1407
