- Activities: An active member of the American Bar Association (ABA), Jim has served as Chair of the Section of International Law and the Section Officers Conference. In 1990 he was elected to the ABA House of Delegates and has served as Chair of the New York Delegation in the House of Delegates since 2000. He served on the ABA Board of Governors from 1994-1997 and has Chaired the ABA’s Latin American Legal Initiatives Council. He is also a former Chair of the ABA’s Museum of Law and of the ABA’s China Law Committee. He is also a member of the House of Delegates of the New York State Bar Association and has served as Chair of the Council on International Affairs of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
