James Nguyen is a dedicated advocate pursuing justice for his clients. His practice primarily focuses on personal injury matters including automobile accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, premises liability, workplace injuries, and wrongful death. James’ practice also includes commercial litigation, landlord/tenant, and real estate litigation matters. Whether helping a policyholder recover insurance proceeds to repair their property, helping an injured person, or settling a dispute between a landlord and a tenant, James prides himself in advocating for his clients in the pursuit to bring them a fair and just result.

Prior to his transition into representation of injured people and underpaid policyholders, James practiced at a prestigious real estate litigation firm. There, James gained incomparable and invaluable trial experience, handling hundreds of files – displaying flexibility and intellect in resolving cases both inside and outside the courtroom. His experience allowed him to develop and excel in litigation tactics and successful resolution strategies for his clients.

A dedicated Houstonian, James is a big University of Houston supporter. He received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Houston and has developed a reputation as an excellent writer. He also minored in Biology and is well positioned to handle and evaluate the medical aspects of cases. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient. He served as a Senior Articles Editor on the Houston Business & Tax Law Journal and was a member of the Asian Law Student Association. James was also a intern to the Hon. Debra Ibarra Mayfield in the 165th District Court of Harris County, Texas.
