James H. M. Savage maintains a transportation law practice which includes representing clients in regulatory matters before the U.S. Surface Transportation Board (STB) and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA); commercial litigation and commercial real estate transactions; provides legal guidance to clients seeking public financing; represents clients in State and Federal litigation, as well as in environmental enforcement actions. He has successfully defended numerous toxic exposure and traumatic injury lawsuits brought under the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA). Mr. Savage counsels clients regarding FRA safety matters, OSHA whistle blower claims, EEOC employment discrimination claims, NLRB and Railway Labor Act unfair labor practice claims, and Longshore & Harbor worker compensation claims.
Mr. Savage also represents businesses and individuals in a wide variety of litigated matters.
