He went way beyond. He really cared. Stan got me out of the county with 2 manf./ delivery charges were set at $26,000 each. On my 91st. day I was not indicted and He was at the courthouse at 8 am sharp to get me released for free. I had no idea how long it had been. We never discussed it. He just knew what to do. He came to visit me that morning and said," Are you ready to go home?" I could not believe, everything was done, signed, and I was free to go. He ended up representing me on a marijuana charge that he got me time served on. I'll never forget all the letters I wrote him begging for my freedom. He came to visit me several times while I was there in that long 90-day stretch. Stan was court appointed. Usually, those guys don't fight for you, you feel. But Stan is a stand-up guy. I think he really believed in me. "Thank you Stan for fighting for me." I will never forget you. Unlike the other attorneys, I paid thousands on that case. I was so inexperienced back then. Naive. I wish I would have paid you! Maybe I would have been home sooner. My big mistake! I hope to never need another attorney but if I do you will be the first one I call. But I will tell anyone who will listen, "you are the attorney to call for criminal defense cases in Denton County. You know your way around that county.
