Michael and I first met some years ago as adversaries on a complex and highly contested divorce litigation.

Q. In the cases you were involved in with this attorney, which of the following apply?

Michael was opposing counsel in a very complex divorce some years back. We certainly knew of each other prior to that, but never had the opportunity to work on the same case prior to that time.

Q. When did you work with this lawyer?
I believe the case commenced in 2013 and concluded with a trial decision issued in early 2015. There was no appeal taken by either side. We have since consulted with each other on various cases and issues.
Q. Was this lawyer an effective advocate/counselor and why?
Yes

Michael is the most "laser focused" litigator I have ever encountered. He is without a doubt, a literal encyclopedia of matrimonial practice and law and all that goes with it; CPLR, real estate law, estates and trusts, social services law etc. Michael sees the whole picture but then isolates and dissects each issue so that his arguments are precise, focused and effective. So many attorneys say they are trial attorneys... Michael IS a trial attorney "par excellence."
