- She has particular expertise in challenging and creative financing solutions, such as the first and largest of its kind financing in Massachusetts as part of energy deregulation. Most recently, she has been involved in the firm's Life Sciences initiative working with emerging growth biotech companies as well as ground-breaking transactions for electric companies in New England. Recenttransactions include: (1) potential $300 million acquisition of a biotech target by a pharma client; (2) collaboration and licensing agreements with Elan Corporation and Kraft Foods, Inc.; (3) spinoff of IntElect Medical, Inc. from The Cleveland Clinic; (4) note offerings in excess of $1 billion for Antigenics, Inc. and Genzyme Corporation; and (5) numerous financing transactions with venture capital and strategic investors on behalf of emerging life sciences ventures.
